At one point I had some tape drives (not near as much as you) and was told they go as CD/DVD logic boards.

But if you have that many it might be worth emailing Chris directly.

I will note, it looks like you have some heatsinks and connector ends/cables still plugged in that need to be removed. Picture is a little blurry so I could be wrong on that.

The top one is high peripheral.
Q 1 is probably low telco. If you remove heatsinks. The connector ends need to be removed. But it’s close.

Only the compact and sub compact board layouts for tape drives have a /chance/ at cd/dvd. Micron, HP, IBM… all compact.
Quarter, LG, Samsung single tape LTO expansions are sub.

The thousands of different tape controller layouts are why there’s no class for them. There’s only three common layouts for optical drives.

The 2 pics are of the same board each side, thanks for the help I was thinking it is high grade telecom because one of the pictures board sort has on the left hand side is close to this board

I see that. Sry.
Looks like high peripheral and low telco.
metal connectors tend to keep things a bit lower.

I think there might be some confusion on the photos and Lost's grades.

thegoldnugget added a couple better photos so we could see the board (Thank you!) but Lost is still saying two grades. Unless I'm mistaken there is one board here, just front and back photos.

If that's the case, since all those chips are on one board and Lost says low telco for one side and high peripheral on the other, then I'd say your definitely at low telco. Maybe high.

Thanks for clarification, I was getting confused. It looks like pic 1 and 2 is one board and pic Q1 is a board just like that with connectors and heatsinks not removed.
