Boardsort does not differentiate between data connectors, that I know of, at this time. If you have a local buyer, other than Boardsort, they may. My local buyer made a point to ask me what I had before we settled on a price that would give him some leeway if there were more SATA than IDE boards or full length (covered the entire side of the hard drive) vs half length.
SSDs should still be HDDs but this could have changed or may be dependant on format of the SSD. I'm thinking 3.5"SSD vs a USB.
The hard drives with boards vs hard drives punched/bent with board are for whole units. If a board by itself is damaged then the condition of the board will determine if it is still a HDD board or not. If it's missing the gold pins or ICs it'll lose value. If the board is broken in half if can still go as a HDD board if you keep the two halves together. If half is missing it will more than likely lose value. How much value? Like I said, depends on the individual board.
Post pictures if you're not sure.
