Salutations,
I've been reading through the guides, trying to classify some of the boards I have lying around. The guides for the motherboards say to measure the CPU socket. All three of mine seem to have no socket, though, just a solid white pad with a lever on one side. Am I missing something obvious? What would this go under?

(A few minutes later) Just pried the white lever pad off with a screwdriver to see if there was a socket underneath. Nope, still solid.

Thanks muchly!

(Apologies if this has been asked a million times. The search function refused to touch any iteration of "Motherboard socket missing?")

Yes, that is the CPU socket.

That would be a small socket colored motherboard

Ah, very good. Thanks muchly!

By looking through other posts, I've managed to place a bunch of others into the Peripherals pile. Got quite a few that I can't place yet, so will probably be bugging you for help in the near future. Cheers!
