Attached are pic's of 2 boards from Telco equipment rack.
1 has several, what look like gold tab IC's.
Not sure about the other.

There's a lot of transformers(or similar) on both boards that are going to keep the grade from telco in my opinion. You should pull off the front bracket and the steel that runs the length and has 3 screws. I'm not sure what the large square component is on the one board, if the metal can pull off cleanly I would remove that too.

Right now I'm sitting at high peripheral on both but the second might have a chance to go higher depending on that large square component. Might take another picture of that from a different angle if it can't come off.

The example picture for the low telecom boards has a lot of transformers on it. I agree that all metal brackets and such should be removed, but why wouldn't this fall into low grade telecom?

There was a discussion recently of the low grade telecom board.

I have said before low telco is not my strong suit. I have also said if I'm not sure I tend to grade lower so that if there's a surprise in the board being a different grade when it arrives in Boardsort's hands, that it's a good surprise and not a bad one.
