Parts from Lenovo L430-I have several of these in the disassembly process.

C-will be in one or two pieces. All depends on the amount of force I have to apply to get them to comply with my wishes...Grrrrr
D- is the touchpad and I believe they were High Peripheral in the past.
Guessing a mix of Low and High Peripheral for the remaining parts.

C.

I'm have to come back later to offer a grade but out of curiosity, what's the issue you're having with C?

C just seems to have a fragile connection, more fragile than on the L420's recently posted. When taking apart the next two units it seems they also used a different, thinner board, in the same location.

We have a total of 17 of these and an overall total of 350 notebooks of various brands and configurations to disassemble over the coming weeks, so I am trying to get the part categories figured out to make daily sorting easier.

A/B/E/I) Low peripheral
C) Blue: Still not sure what I'm seeing on this one; I want to say low peripheral but may just be midgrade
Green: High peripheral at least, might get low telco

D) High peripheral
F) Not 100% sure leaning low peripheral at the moment
G/H) Midgrade

I guess what I wanted to know if more about where C came from; was it attached to another board in this group? Do you have an example of ones that weren't popping off? Trying to see if I can suggest anything to help solve the issue.

Part C Detail. This is the board under nub for the pointer on Lenovo Laptops. Some have two parts and the connection between them is fragile in some cases. After doing several it became less of an issue. Some of these had a different setup. Two examples in the attached pic. The Broken set, the intact set and a single board which is much thinner than the others.

The middle of the keyboard mouse that was either covered with a fuzzy green or rubbery red material? If so that makes it clearer what I'm seeing. I'm guessing the issue is they are riveted with plastic instead of screws and that's why you're sending up with some of the boards breaking apart?

Yep to rubbery red. Nope, not riveted, 6 tiny screws and the adhesive was more the issue. BTW, I also need a grading on that last thinner board as well. Also, no grading for F on the original pic.

That's because I have E listed twice... Whoops, I'll go back and fix that post.

The last thin board is I? I have that grouped in that first grouping a/b/e/i

Thanks for the clarification on F.

The thin board I was referring to was the pic within the thread, not main pics, I posted to clarify where the broken board came from. 3 boards from the broken Lenovo Nipple Nub.

For now I'd say high peripheral on the keyboard mouse boards; if the blue board pops off midgrade for that.
