Is it better to sell the whole cable or cut the ends off?

Boards should go as high peripheral. As for the wires I have flayed a few like this. They are mostly copper wire inside. So I cut the gold ends off and rest goes as copper wire. The end I have a bucket of them I intend to refine the gold out one day.

Also want to add most newer items are aluminum wire or at least tinned. My local yard takes most of this as 40% copper insulated wire.
