This is front and back of a elevator processor board
How dow I grade this
Do I remove the processor chips and send in separately

Food for thought. I have been scrapping for 5 years regularly. I think I sold a jar of chips from my years prior to that. My chips bin which include the random bgas/flatpacks that are stuck to heat sinks and socket mounted EPROMs/IC. Just weighed the bin I have right at 2 pounds of chips. Yeah they are all easy to get and seem like a no brainer to pluck. But it’s almost insignificant.

If you got a scale that is pretty good weigh it with and without chips. With chips maybe big maybe telecom low 95% peripheral high. Without chips it might go peripheral low. Do the cost comparison it’s probably better to leave chips and take the upgrade than risk the downgrade.
