I have a few of the following wires (about a handful or so) and was wondering if I cut off the golden ends if those could count as gold pins or if they would be considered connectors, or if they would count as something else entirely?

While these are technically connector ends, and you could certainly sell them as such (you would be doing a lot of clipping to get to that pound) Chris has bought these before as a higher grade material, but that generally requires a quick XRF analysis to determine the quality of the gold plating.
I would suggest reaching out to him and maybe send him a few samples to test.
