Is this a tantalum capacitor?

That is a resettable fuse

The epoxy dipped tantalum will be more tear drop shaped like this or at least from what can remember, I usually don't worry about them and leave them attached.

Tantalum will be marked on one side of the SMD or ceramic post with a " + " symbol and a straight line down the same side. The only tantalum caps BS buys, are yellow, black and orange SMD; they look like little square boxes of those colors. For the ceramic post, they look like a LED dipped in either yellow/red/orange/blue ceramic tear drops. Older tantalum resistors or caps look like a fuse post, but they are early years and hard to distinguish from the others.
