a friend obtained a street billboard from a car wash that went out of business. He thought they could use it at the American Legion where he is a board member. But due to zoning regulations the boro doesn't allows them in the residential area. So instead of tossing it, he gave me an entire crate of the panels. They are approx 8" square, but I don't know if the boards are worth anything. The boards are sealed into the housing, I am unable to remove them. Any help is appreciated.

I see 6 screws on the face of the LED panel. Take those out and it should come apart.

Those screws only hold on the plastic face cover over the LED's. This LED sign was an outdoor sign, so it was made with some type of waterproof material to protect the boards.

The top circuit board is soldered to the led board, so I can't easily remove the top circuit board. That is why I was wondering if these are even worth taking to be recycled. I probably have 60 of these led assemblies inside a large box that he gave me.
