It seems to me that I have seen a wide variety of boards labeled as High Peripheral and I am trying to understand how wide the range is and what falls outside of it. These are not PC or laptop boards. Most are from TVs I believe. I stratified them by the number of Gold Tab chips. The top has none, the next row have 1, next 2, and the two at the bottom have 4 (left) and 3 (right). I don't know if that is the right way to stratify them but I figured at least it is quantifiable.
So, are all of them high perf? Or do some fall into a higher or lower category?

I think Peripheral High Grade is a mid level catch all classification. At one time it even included what would go as Peripheral Low Grade today. It has baffled me in the past that a board will grade as Peripheral High and look like it has less value that a metal socket motherboard. With that said, gold tab flat packs make a big difference! I emailed Chris about some network switch boards long ago and he said they would be High Telcom because of the gold tabs. I think the bottom 2 boards could be graded higher, but I'm not sure if they would be High Telcom or not.
