Came off small mid grade board next to main server board. Two connecter ends above these larger gold fingers. Can the fingers be classed as gold fingers? Look same on front and back. Can the pins that came out of the socket be classified as gold pins? They are only coated on one side. Base metal is magnetic (very light) stainless steel. Thanks!

The green boards with gold fingers may or may not be thick enough gold to class with clean gold fingers. If they are, you would need to trim the board so that as little green is left. Generally cutting fingers is not worth it.

The plated pins should also be trimmed to the visible gold if you expect a good price for them. If you get a bunch of the same type I would sort them so there's consistency when Boardsort scans them. I don't get a lot of the same stuff so if I end up with loose pins I sort by unused (no copper or other wire attached) vs used and into, could be gold plated to definitely gold plated, definitely gold plated but not a heavy plating and heavy plated. If there's only one side plated it never ends up in heavy plated. This is another thing that probably isn't worth the effort to pull especially when they could be gold plated connector ends or help a board to grade higher.

Also, gold fingers are only from RAM or PCI cards (had to double check)
