First off, thank you! I have 21 of these point-of-sale machines that I got when my local bowling alley did an upgrade. I'm new to e-waste. Aside from common metals like copper and aluminum and ferrous metals, I have no idea where to put boards. Here are a series of photos I took while tearing down one of the units. I took front and back photos of all the components. Found one tiny battery and I removed it. I also took some pictures of the difficulty on getting to some of it. Are these components worth going after? Should I leave them in the tape? How clean does this need to get?
Sorry for the multiple pics. And sorry they are backwards from the way I uploaded them. There are statements on most of them. The picture of the boards is numbered to make commenting/identification easier.

Thanks again.

Wish I could help more but.. 5 & 6 look to me like laptop WiFi card category.

The “copper” in the final photo is a clean copper heatsink category item.

The thin wire is ribbon wire and would go under the “mixed wire” category.

I’d also say the long skinny green board is low grade peripheral.

Yes, #6 was attached to the antennas.

8: Remove the ribbon cables as there is broken glass on them. When you remove boards from and LCD you can carefully peel them off the glass in most cases but if you are having trouble it is better to peel the cable from the board instead. You do not want to cut yourself on broken LCD panels

7: low peripheral

6: Wifi card (this category is fairly new, not sure if the shield needs to be removed)

5: not sure on the cateogry off the top of my head, appears to be a Solid State Drive

4: midgrade

3: Low peripheral

2: High peripheral

1: Seems like this is essentially a tablet motherboard which have been graded as high peripheral in the recent past.

Sorry I worked backwards through the numbers.

The ribbon cables with gold ends don't have any additional value to boardsort so I imagine there isn't much gold there, I collected those for awhile thinking they did and now can't decide if I want to try and sell them somewhere else or just dump it in my mixed wire.

The one you're holding in the "How clean does it need to get" picture you can probably cut the end off that one for gold connector end category.

The antennae connectors, not sure if those have enough gold for connector ends.

The impossible to remove flexible pcb with several ICs on it, I'd throw in high peripheral
