Like the title says, are these any different from regular wire?
Also, when uploading images, before the upload is complete, the page goes white and nothing else happens!

I'm not sure what the image size limit is. I've aimed for 4-4½ megs.
I found anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes for uploads depending on connection. If it takes more than 5 minutes... clear out and try again with a smaller image.

If your using android above version 4 you can crop your image in the gallery by hitting the menue key and/or long tapping the image. You do not need to crop much. Android replaces the jpeg standard compression with jp2k compression in the new image. I don't understand why android's camera uses jpeg 1.1 and the gallery uses jp2k but that's another discussion.

That's considered "flat wire". Aka wire laminate. The only time i sort it out is if it has black masking, the industry standard for marking gold wires.
Boardsort doesn't buy it separatly but many yards and/or jewelry buyers will pay gold recovery rates ($5-$15 a pound on the higher end of the scale).

Boardsort buys wire all wire as bulk wire.
There are a few things you must and can do though.
First cut off any IC chips for boardsort buys them separate as ICs.
Second cut off and CMCs. Boardsort doesn't buy them but local yards might and the do have value.
Finally cut off the contact connectors
Gold ones go in gold fingers. Silver and nickel ones go with silver/tin ram.
Finally cut loose anything else that may be attached. Boardsort can downgrade your wire if you leave "junk" attached, like boards, silver switches etc, even when the junk is worth more than the wire. Because they need to pay an employees time to clean it.

Thanks lostinlodos I've been removing the monolithic caps off lowgrade boards, and aluminum electrolytic capacitors from lowgrade boards, saving the good ones and been using them to repair TV sets for people
Been doing that for many years, just accumulated so much scrap over the years it's time to sell it
