This has a metal cap over what appears to be a dark brown fiber. Toss in IC pile or what kind of cpu? Thanks in advance.

No gold pins?

You might see if the cap will pop off, I wouldn't try too hard in case the adhesive is stronger that the die.

Edit:
This may fall under black fiber cpu. Lostinlodos has stated before any black fiber, gold or silver pins, can go there.
