Wondering if the outer casing on 2 kinds of sfp should be removed (qsfp-40g-sr-bd and cvr-qsfp-sfp10g). If so, should also remove the yellow fiber module? Lastly, how would these be classified.

Exactly like so. Disassembled, they will class between High Per/Low Tel to High Tel/Low SATA.

As is, gold connector ends.
