Any help with classifying these components would be greatly appreciated. A lot of the small PCB stuff I can identify, but I've got a bunch of things like these that I can't.



And just some constructive criticism here from a very small-time scrapper. The process of taking pictures of these components that are probably worth less than $1 altogether is absolutely tedious. I think I suggested in another post that Chris should just offer a service where a flat percentage is taken by Boardsort if people send in material that they can't identify. You could set limits on that, you could have rules that would make such a thing work. Chris's reputation is impeccable, and no doubt there would be folks like me who'd be sending in more scrap instead of going through this baffling, often slow, and usually frustrating process of trying to get an answer.

2. High grade peripheral
3. Low grade peripheral
4. High peripheral?
5 & 6. Backplane expansion?
7. Gold finger PCI card clean

We'll see what others have to say, but this is my best guess.

I'm hoping an admin or a more experienced member (no offense, rickyjogging) might give me a second opinion so that I can sort these and put them to rest. #2 isn't even a peripheral board, is it? It's a mini motherboard, though I don't know if it falls into any of the mobo categories and you could be right about it being HGP.

And then take more pics and await answers....see what I'm talking about when I refer to tedium in addition to time vs. the value of what I'm inquiring about?
