Hi just trying to figure out what these boards from the 1980s were and what I could expect from them?

Try to get the faceplates off, especially if aluminum. After that:

2091: leaning toward high peripheral
2090: low peripheral
2087: high peripheral at least but maybe low telco
2088: high telco
