Is this considered a gold cap board? Also, should I remove the metal boxes off of the board?

Thanks!

I can not see why not a Gold Cap. Also. Removing the metal. Personally. I would remove the metal. Does that edge connector have gold contacts? That's a real plus towards Gold Cap.
Here to learn like everyone else.

The end connector does have gold contacts so that’s good

You can remove the metal caps if the metal boxes have a removeable cap, if not they can stay.

Make sure to remove the push in clips on the edges. Push/pop the steel pins out.
