Where exactly or what category would I put these under? the are extremely old, and I have no idea where to put them. Can someone help me categorize these?

Reference

If you can remove the heatsinks (you'll likely have to remove the round components) First and second should go high telco. If not, I'm leaning high peripheral on the first and low telco on the second.

Low peripheral on the last

Try and keep those components on. Those are old Osos and the one is heavy plated.

I'm unsure how big the heat sink is but it should be fine

I agree high telco on the first two.
Last board is very difficult. The junk puts it firmly in mid-grade. Not certain It could be cleaned above that, maybe low peripheral. Problem is that it actually has some high value components, but due to age, not components that Boardsort is looking for. Can cut the gold fingers and the little black gum drop looking things, as well as some of the other components will likely have gold legs.

Springboarding off of that, I have a question, probably for you Spence1015. I have seen in a video Chris refer to those components that you are referringg to as old OSOs as junk. I have not been sure if this applied to the gold legged and gold plated varieties. I pop them off and keep them thinking someday I will find a way to turn a buck on them. The boards that they are on usually are high grade boards with heavy gold fingers so they lose no value.

Re-referencing

The aluminum and no gold plate oso can definitely impact the grade, Chris said as much on mine. The IC density is the other factor for me.

I have sent in a couple handfuls worth of the gold plated osos that he was able to hit with the xrf gun and he paid a custom price for (can't recall how much now).

The last board, I really think the gold fingers and smattering of decent components can get it into low peripheral
