Wondered what this board would classify as because it has both styles of arms on the CPU socket even though it is a blue board.

Lga 2011 is notated on the board itself, that's for the socket which is used for xeon CPUs, making this a metal socket no I series

Lga 2011 x79 called they use core i CPUs... or xeons. makes for a confusing board no ? x58/x79/x99 and x299 are a odd ball grade at times as they can use core I CPUs but also xeons but they don't have the fish hook lever. Metal socket none I series is the right category even tho they can use I series CPUs
