Just when I think I have the hang of it.... Whammo! I get pushed back. LOL. Wondering where these boards would go? Gold finger? or Low Telcom? or Hi Periph? I don't have enough experience yet. Looking for some advice. If Low Telcom, would removing all of the transformers leave enough good stuff to be considered Hi-Telcom? Thank you in advance.

ohh that's a hard one. maybe Peripheral High Grade with all those transformers, you might be able to sneak it in teclo if you remove them. I'd wait to see what others say about it before doing anything.

The images are too blurry but take a close look at those silver boxes and confirm they aren't mercury. Clare made some mercury switches and that's about all I can see.

They may not be but if you're not sure take a clearer picture to post for us and we'll confirm one way or the other.

I was wondering about that too but could not tell from the photos

I'll try to get better pictures of the other boards. But I have the same questions about these: Wondering where these boards would go? Gold finger? or Low Telcom? or Hi Periph? I don't have enough experience yet. Looking for some advice. If Low Telcom, would removing all of the transformers leave enough good stuff to be considered Hi-Telcom? Thank you in advance.

These type boards won't be gold finger cards but the fingers will help the grade.

Removing the transformers would probably be good. You're probably going to range from low peripheral to low Telco depending on the board.

One of the boards in the new set also has a Clare component with possible mercury.

If mercury, you don't want to remove those from the board unless you absolutely know what you're doing. You could use a dremel and cut the board around them, just not the relays themselves.
