In my opinion. You just don't have those heavy gold plated edge connectors found with a true telecom board. That's why I evaluated it that way.
Telecom boards are high performance. Which requires precious metal content. I do not see that in your board.

telco does not have to have a gold edge connector, most of the time they do but its not a hard requirement

It would be nice to know where the board came from. I doubt the telecom industry. Telecom boards have high quality components and materials. Yes. The board has population but nothing extraordinary. Yes. No junk. Except possibly the switch. I just don't see it as Telecom at all.

I was thinking high peripheral on the low end at least low Telco on the high end.

The pin connector doesn’t look like it has any gold plating which may mean the entire board is lower quality and you have a little bit of steel on that switch. You do have a bunch of ICs and the switch may have some precious metals in it.

So that’s where I was at because it was such a range I didn't say anything before

teclo class does not have to come from teclo stuff. some GFC like older scsi cards can be teclo class at times and same can be said about some network switches.
