Hi,

I want to ask why there are some processors with white pins? is it platinum or silver??

nope... they are just a steel or an alloy like Korvar...the metalic leads have no precious metals on the outside of the package... on the inside of the ceramic/epoxy they are attached to gold bonding wires that are incredibly tiny.

Actually those leed pins are often nickel, not steel. While considerably higher value than steel ($2.50-$3/lb) they're nothing special for pm.
Mls is probably correct
I believe the top one goes green fibre no metal.
Other two are standard ic rate.

Curious since there 386/486 chips why wouldnt they fall in that category?

starndard IC chip rate.... they only make the 386/486 class if they have the ceramic body with the legs and gold cap intact.
