If by cartridge contacts you mean printer cartridge...?
The small rectangular three to five glob contact bars on laser cartridges and plotter bins always go with/as gold fingers.

Large contact ribbons from ink jet printers (eg officejet) will go as high peripheral if you have enough of the grade to weigh.

Those laminated wires are very low density to weight ratio. However the gold is pure. Despite what a popular Australian YouTube poster has said there is a significant amount of value to gold laminated wire, as pictured above, when in large quantity. A single wire will get you laughed at but a few hundred pounds can bring in major money!

Those are standard ribbon cables. Only gold is in the contacts on the ends. Cable is mixed wire (a type 3 or 4 for local yards). You can cut the ends off for gold pin connector.

Thank you for the heads up! I didnt know that they could be added to my gold pin connectors pile. I make more money from my local scrap yard with the wire, but you guys get my gold pin connectors!

Boardsort hasn’t changed any classing on these type of cabling regardless of colour.

Sorry for the misunderstanding I was asking if they still contain gold wires if they are black on one side and orange on the other side?

Depends on the wire.
Not all black laminate is gold either. And in that is part of the problem that keeps them from paying differently.
