99% of video game main boards go as peripheral.
The only original PlayStation board that will be different is the very first one, that has a big wide serial port and 4 types of a/v output. It also has a second aluminium shelled CPU.
It goes as small socket.
All xBox boards are peripheral, except for the developers unit. You can spot this board by the floppy drive pin connectors on the right rear of the board and a red dip switch box near the front just to the right of where the drive would sit.
This sole xBox board goes as small socket as well. All others of the line are peripheral.
