I have been collecting e scrap for about a year now and I am new to it. Been reading up on a lot and have most of my stuff categorized but I have a few things I’m not sure about if someone could please help me with the attached pictures.
Also I have about 42 hard drives saved up and wanted to see if it’s worth me taking them all apart to get the maximum profit?
And I have about 22 laptops from late 90s early 2000s and wanted to know what the best option was on these. Any write ups showing how to categorize the parts inside? I opened one but I am only familiar with the parts in a regular PC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

All peripheral

Pull the gold cap chip for 486 cpu. Large socket motherboard

With the gold cap chip still in the board it’s gold cap chip board. I’d remove it as that will be an 8086/8080 cpu

Large socket motherboard

The card with a handful of ICs will go as Gold finger card. The populated one as telco
