Personally, I trim the fingers off and pull the copper wraps

Trying to figure out what I have here. It mostly came from some '70's era HP mucrowave test equipment. Any help is appreciated.

From back when the price of gold was fixed and controlled (undervalued) by the government (it’s still $46 on paper: lol).

I’ll forward this to Chris for an official reply as things have changed over the years.

I got guidance from mr Chris.
I’ll be back in the daytime and use that guidance to make some decisions on sorting.

This is a range that they don’t normally deal with. Stuff I have extensive understanding of by being primarily a “retro” tech hardware wise
So I’ll do my best to be fair for you and honest to Chris.

Quick note.
I know exactly what the actual end of life value is on most of that… end of process.
So my goal here will to be grade it so that you get the best price this country will give you from one of the most honest company’s in this business

And make sure he makes some money too, so he can keep being YouTube’s number 1 rated scrap buyer

I mostly deal with hardware wise, pre 1982 equipment. I’ve sent 10k ton of crossover boards to a refiner directly and know what the gold markup is.

My target is 88-92% return to you, and -12-10% for then. About where most of their pricing is.

Aside from people like me… there’s maybe 8-10 of us active on the forums, Boardsort doesn’t Often come across this stuff. It is honestly worth money, above normal. Unfortunately it’s becoming harder to recover the value due to environmental regulations.

The idea of dumping the batch in hydrochloride and adding tungsten and magnesium, and lighting it on fire is no longer an option in this country.
4 years ago you could get a 10:1 cost return on this. ePA has clamped down on it.

So I ask you one thing that Chris noted to me:
How much? Pounds, tens of pounds, or tonnage?

Top high telco

Connector ends. However these are easy to pull out the pins so consider pulling from one and weighing the difference to see if clean pins is worth more

Note; High telco (the gold plate adapters have a hidden class) note them on your invoice.
