That misunderstanding is exactly why I don’t normally post links.
Those weren’t recommendations. I haven’t used either one.
The intention was to point out you should find a place that buys broken screens of some sort and call. Eventually you’ll find one.
Before they shut down a local cell phone shop bought old vacuum displays from vhs players and calculators from me. They offered to buy my monitor displays but I never got around to it.

Not exactly a misunderstanding. I reached out to them asking if they buy them and what their process would be. As you recommended, i wanted everything via email as apposed to just a verbal over the phone. I just wanted to know if you know of anyone else i could reach out to?

Try this and just move down to he list one by one
This is one of the most volatile scrap markets in terms of acceptance. More so than rubber.
I tried the eBay route: sold 101Lbs for $50 and spent $35 in fees, upgrades, and shipping. Worth it? I don’t know. Probably if someone else boxed it for me but that’s another $10. Lol

Most buyers want them intact
If they’re cracked you are purely in the scrap category.
The buyers are out there on the interwebs but the market is so fluid I don’t make any recommendations at this time.
Tube screens run pennies
Lcd 25č-$1 Per lb
Plasma usually in the $1 range
Do NOT remove the aluminium block from plasma screens
paris-shuttle
My local yard buys them from select sellers and doesn’t take them publicly. For close to the above rates
Lcd the larger the screen the lower the rate
Plasma the larger the screen the higher the rate
It’s a glass vs chemical issue.

Thank you for the knowledge! Say i go to Google or Bing, what do i search to find these buyers of the cracked screens? Im having zero luck.

hi, thank you very much for the knowledge
