I got a 386DX the other day. Looks like 2 ceramic processors, maybe a math co-pric and a main proc? Eaither way, they dont have the ZIF release handle, how do I get them off the board without damage?

Use a pair of adjustable needle nose pliers.
If you don't havr that a spudger works.
I use the plastic over aggressive one from ifixit.

Or make your own. :)
Lifting from the corners works the best. Just slide the spudger under the corner and rock it gently. When it lifts a bit move on to the next corner.
Once all four are released it should come easily if you grab two sides and pull up.

I have seen some that are directly soldered into the board... if you have one of those, a heat gun is your best bet. DO NOT use a torch! Burning a printed circuit board is HIGHLY toxic.

The vast majority of 386's are in a socket of some sort though. In which case a small awl can usually be used to pry up a side at a time like Lados said.
