First-timer in the e-waste scrapping world here
I'm cleaning out an office and have this box of misc. wire. I see that there is a separate paid category for connector ends, but other than the pics it isn't very descriptive. I live close enough to drop everything off and don't have to worry about shipping costs. Are there certain types of ends that I should just leave on the wire? And am I correct in reading that power cord ends and USB ends should remain on? Thanks in advance for the help!

Connector ends constitutes any connector with gold pins.

Gotcha, thanks. Is there a good way of telling for sure if it's gold or not? Or just based on looking? And then I assume just leave the ends on if they aren't gold?

Brass is extremely uncommon. Copper even less.
If it looks like gold (plated) pins it likely is.

Ok, will the female side be good then too, or will it just be the male end?

Generally if the male end is gold the female is as well, per cable.

Would I need to take it down from what the pliers are pointed at or the version on the right? It's kind of a pain to take them down. They are SAS cables from servers.
