Hello! I'm new to scrapping so just want to make sure I get this right.

I'm not sure what this part is, so should I remove the plastic wrap and barcodes? Should I send the bar codes with the packing slip to help you identify it in case I'm wrong?

Any guess as to what I should send this as, if at all?

That’s an old modem. There’s a strip of plastic around it that should be gently removed.
It will go as high peripheral.

Don’t worry about bar codes. What an item does is less important than what it contains components wise. Boardsort recycles the items based on component mixes, not function. Which is why “telco” boards usually have nothing to do with telecommunications and why telecommunications boards usually end up as high peripheral.
