i attached picture of boards I have, have quite a few of them. Is it better to remove the heat sinks and copper coils or leave them as is? my question is, is it really worth the time needed? I was hoping someone can point me in the best way to handle these boards.

Nothing needs to be removed from a low grade board except batteries.

The boards need nothing removed to sell to Boardsort. The catch is it will cost you more to ship the low and midgrade boards than you will receive in payment. I have stated before, I keep these boards for when I am making an in-person delivery to Cleveland Ohio from near Chattanooga Tenn. With 300 or so pounds of these boards, that usually pays the fuel cost for the thousand mile round trip.
Even if it doesn't cover the full cost of fuel, it covers most of it. As a bonus, on the trip back home with an empty van or pickup truck, I have plenty of room to hit several rock collecting spots I pass by mainly in Kentucky, which would cost about $80 in fuel to make the trip to rockhunt and return home again.
