I searched the forums and have not found tips/techniques on the best method of packing gaylords. I have enough backplane for 1\2+ of a gaylord as well as enough high per. to do the same. All other categories will bring the total number of gaylords to 3. I think. I was hoping to neatly stack the backplane in bottom of 1 gaylord and the HP in another. Then using individual cardboard boxes for the other categories stacked on top. Does anyone have a method of stacking the bottom of the gaylords with boards. I'm considering bundling the boards with lock wire (.041 inch SS) and lowering them in. Any better suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Lock wire will work for your purpose.
Personally I use 6-strand 8th twine. But I also use aluminium clips to latch a cover on. Twine tends to be fairly robust and strong when you use higher strand counts. It’s biodegradable, and tends to be responsibly sourced in general. I use sun dried vine and seaweed twine but most people swear by bamboo.
Bamboo costs more.
