Wondering if anyone else from Canada has used Boardsort and if so was it worth it? I do have quite a bit for motherboards..

My grades are my own opinion and not an official grade from Boardsort

I am in Ontario and have shipped to Boardsort.

Now with that being said, I did ship from inside the States.

As a matter of fact I knew I was heading to Ohio and shipped from where I was staying, which was 1.5 hrs from Boardsort.

Heading to Ohio again shortly so gathering up the goodies and packing them to get ready once again..

How many have you brought across the border. I see previously Lost stated you can cross with 99lb undeclared...

I have several hundred lb of telco grade boards I am trying to move. Trying to find a spot local or figure out a way to get them to boardsort..

Mind you that was half a decade ago.
A lot of rules have changed and I’m not sure what it is now.
I do know the declaratory value limit is no longer discretionary and believe the amount is $200 and taxable at $2000. But I’m not sure on those two numbers off hand.

I would like to sell to boardsort but being in Canada complicates that...

I’d let it go within reason. Boardsort is not an international company so Canada, and India, can ask for local help from local knowledge.

Fun story: when I first joined, I was in field service and my gas was paid for through the company via the use of a fleet card. I would do jobs in western PA (7-8 hours from my house) and when I knew this in advance, I would load up the van, do my jobs and then make a quick detour to Eastlake to get paid with no out of pocket expense, other than my time.
One time, I did a job in Mississauga, Ontario and I dumb-assedly loaded up on computers while I was up there, as the owner of the company was happy to rid of them for free and I was happy to have them. Only upon trying to cross the border back into New York did I realize they weren't a fan of all of the computers in the back, and didn't like my story that I just "forgot they were back there when I went into Canada". I sat there for four hours while they went through each one to make sure I wasn't smuggling anything back into the U.S. inside of these computers.
They let me go, as I stuck to my story and they didn't have much else they could do to me at that point.
Ahh the good old days.
