I have atleast 1 GPU board and 1 Green, metal socket motherboard that has a corner or a section ripped off. Do you guys buy these boards and pay less for them or does boardsort want nothing to do with this?

As long as you're not routinely using boards for target practice or to test your new shredder or whatever... I don't think Boardsort is going to mind much.

If the missing sections had any chips or gold fingers on it, it could effect the grade.

I've sent a few that had literally been used for target practice with no problems.
a corner is not going to hurt you.

I used a printer for that once, I hate printers and wanted to see what would happen. ;) I just put all the board pieces in their respective board categories. Like a loose chip off a peripheral board, both the chip and board went into peripheral, (etc...).

More than once I’ve literally tossed printers out the window.
But I have a friend who relieves his tech stress by blowing them up. He’s rural, and licensed. So he fires off a 776 40 at them.
Chris doesn’t like burnt wire but he’s always taken the burnt board remains. Often midgrade and peripheral.

Personally I prefer to fix most equipment, but big rack servers do make pretty booms with large cal so I see his point in such a release. Small cell phones are the best, big flash when the battery explodes. But a bit of a waste, nothing left. Even Nokia.
Low grade for that. ;)
