I had tried out scrapping for a bit. Ended up collecting a large assortment of PCBs. But . . . now what? What do I do with them? I called around locally here in Salt Lake City. They only want bulk amounts, or certain type (gold bearing). What should I do with most of what I have? don't really know how to sort it. And shipping it sounds like it would eat up any money. I don't want to just throw this stuff away (though my GF would be more than ok with that).

Should I strip off any copper? Strip off any gold pins? How do I find someone locally who would buy them when all the scrap yards tell me they don't know who will buy them? I found Boardsort through a scrap yard recommendation.

If you take some wide angle shots, like pana mode on a cell phone, you can post some photos of the lot of them we can at least guide you into what you have a majority of.
Even if you don’t want to ship it or it’s not valuable enough for you to do so: someone here can at the least point you in the right direction.

Utah does have some specialised companies, though you may have to drive a short bit.
