I am brand new to this so forgive me if this has already been discussed. I know you are supposed to remove the processors, heatsinks, and batteries. Is there anything else that needs to be removed? What about the plugs for mouse, printer, monitor, ect.?

Thanks in advance for you help.

Generally the only things that must be removed are any heatsinks over 1/2 inch tall or over 2 inches across, and shells, heavy steel trays, and the like. Wires; And batteries.

Generally you should remove memory, expansion cards, and processors. They’re worth more separately than attached. Boardsort will generally catch random missed things like memory cards, and pay you for them at the higher rate; but not always and not if you send dozens of complete boards.

Post photos if you have non-cpu socketed ICs and want to know if you can remove them. At least until you get the hang of BoardSort’s requirements for peripheral to low telco and gold finger card to high telco.

Don’t remove anything else without asking.
