I have a nice pile of computer wires and starting to sort out some misc wires from a few computer lots I grabbed. I have a few questions...

1. Does boardsort accept rca cables with the ends cut off?
2. How about power cords?
3. Lastly what about hdmi? speaker wire? cables that had vga connectors on it?

thanks

Yes to all.

You’re better cutting off gold pin connectors for the extra loose price for them.

Thanks! Last question for now

Are rca, power, coaxial and headphones Jack's consider gold connectors? Or just ones like hdmi and rj5?

Here is a pic of what I have

Only ones with gold plate are gold pin connectors

Instead of making another thread....I have a few boards that didn't come from anything listed in the price list. Or maybe I'm just trying to break them down too much. For example...

I have a few boards from several flat screen tvs
I have boards from an IP phone
I have a good handful of different odd boards from alarm clocks, coffee makers, toaster oven.

Do these fall into a single category that I missed or do I have to separate them before sending them into you guys?

Those are all over the list.
Ip phones have boards from low grade up to gold cap depending on the brand and model.

LCD screens have midgrade, peripheral low, peripheral high, and occasionally telco.

Alan clocks are usually midgrade, occasionally (now new classes) one or two low peripheral.
Coffee machines are inconsistent.
A mr coffee style drip brewer is gonna give you a few low or mid grade boards at best. If there’s boards at all. Best Coffee has no boards. All wires and in wire components.
On the other end something like some of the panicle level Nespresso and Keurig machines have telco boards in the control panel. Even today I’ve found gold cap SMS risc chips in some high end espresso machines.

You just got to open up the units and find out
