Hello. I have a dozen or so of old iPhone 5/6's. Are these still considered modern?
To scrap do I open them up, take out the battery and then send everything else? The "No Cover" is what I am not sure about. Do I need to reassemble the phone without the battery, or leave the screen off but include it in the shipment, or leave the screen out?

If you clearly remove the battery, which is NOT easy on sealed phones (and has safety factors), and send it without the back attached I don’t see why it would not be a modern smart phone grade.
