Would it be considered ok if I used old laptop ram clamshells (2pack)and put 2 CPU in per pack? 1 cpu per ram area. Then tape all the clamshells together so nothing can move…. Just want to make this a nice secure and safe transport.

I’d include the shipping list inside the box, do the clamshells need to be labeled as the CPU’s have clearly visible markings on top (thermal paste removed where the cpu identification is)

Thanks!

My first shipment!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what you put the CPUs in as long as they don't get banged around. I wrapped mine in a paper towel and taped them together with packing tape. I did write the CPU model # on the paper towel, but that was more for me to keep them straight than ID by Boardsort.
