First. I don't know when O S.C.A.R. will be back. But. In the meantime. If you have a mystery board or component. Google Lenses can help give you an idea what a PCB is. It can not give you a Boardsort category directly. You can also enter in manufacturer name. Including model number and/or serial numbers. Can also get a hit on google search. But it's a tough road. Sometimes. Good benefits. I have also entered in PCB identification numbers on Ebay. Got hits that way. Again. It's a long frustrating process. But. Without O.S.C.A.R. What do we do? I have found studying the Boardsort escrap price list over and over again. Is beneficial. Forget instant coffee. You got to go slow brewed. My analogy being. You got to put the time in to get the results. Results being. You can intelligently grade PCBs and components. Also. Look over You Tube. There are many escrappers that post. Even individuals that post referring to selling to Boardsort. I miss O.S.C.A.R. myself. Study. Study. Study.
Here to learn like everybody else
Planning on going over the forums to learn. If I cannot find the answer I'll post pictures in the proper forum.
OSCAR was great. Used it in the past several times. Does anyone know how long it has been down and why?
Two thing new that I have are mother boards from Mac and chrome books. mostly Mac books and air books. Classification? How about boards from a chrome book?
