I have edited out all my comments made in this post and am refraining my base urges to write new comments.

I tend to agree Meowpher the 10th.

If he was scammed then why delete your helpful comments? That doesn't make sense? If I was scammed by someone the last thing I am doing is deleting comments. I would be filing a police report or driving to boardsort in person. If the scam was that elaborate. I mean 6 hours is 6 hours but I would drive there if I really felt screwed.

My personal opinion is he is stirring the pot, being a troll, and trying to make people lose faith and credibility in boardsort. Not once have I ever felt that I was getting screwed or scammed. Chris even reached out to me OVER 2 DOLLARS! 2 DOLLARS! And Chris emailed me because he realized they did not include the test portion of my invoice in the payment!

How can someone say they are getting scammed when Chris emailed me over 2 bucks. If he was a scammer he would not do that. I am still a nobody when it comes to sending in scrap. I mean I only have sent in a few orders. Definitely under a half dozen.

Everyone else is getting paid as they should.

Austin still hasn't said "how" his items were packaged. Did you separate everything properly? Or just toss stuff in a box and hope for the best? E-soup is evil and throwing stuff in a box with paper or cardboard separating items is a nono. Do your self a favor and package things like you are packaging fragile items. Pretend everything you are sending is glass or ceramic. That is what I do and so far Chris only said, after my first shipment, I OVERPACKAGED my scrap.

TL/DR; I call BS on Austin. I just don't believe him sadly. His behavior is childish at best (deleting comments) and throwing a tantrum. Sorry that is my personal opinion and my .02.

Nobody else has been "scammed"

It's a you problem and you still refuse to answer basic questions. Nobody is going to believe you when you refuse to provide any proof

I am leaving this post here despite the language and harsh tone.

This user is just flat out incorrect, he has been paid on time, on schedule. His issue is that he had two test and buy orders. 1 for $22 and another for $16. We paid the $16 on 7-14-2026. The $22 will be next week.

The $22 quote was "GENERATED" on 6-22-2026. The $16 invoice was "GENERATED" on 6-14-2026. We "RECEIVED" the order on 6-17-2026 which is a Wednesday, here is the tracking for transparency:

For nearly 2 decades we have had the same processing schedule. Scrap materials that arrive Wed thru Tues are processed that following Wednesday and paid out that Thursday.

In the case of this customer, we "processed" (meaning we now have in our hands) his Test & Buy order, which landed on Wed the 17th, on the following Wed (24th) based on the above schedule. It has been that way since day one.

Test and Buy CPUs take longer than scrap. We can weight scrap, record that weight and move on. Test and Buy go to a lab where where they go through a series of stations, we have a video out there somewhere showing the steps.

In this case, it took about 3 weeks for his CPUs to cycle through. This is NORMAL and did not at all warrant the abusive behavior in our public forums or the scathing emails that I have received from this customer, nor are the accusations of scams and rip-offs deserved.

Running a recycling center is a challenging business when it comes to working with people. He is not the first, nor the last person to think behaving in such a way will change the outcome. It will not. We will continue to do what we do which is be the most transparent buyer we can be. My email is overwhelmed and inefficient. As an alternative I provide a phone number to call me with questions during normal business hours. I am sorry that I can only take 1 call at a time. Keep trying. But the notion that I am missing in action, or ignoring customers or not paying people is preposterous. None of that is true. What is true is that we are very busy serving many satisfied customers, all of which we have strived to satisfy in every way.

I try to please every customer , but sometimes there is that one that will never be satisfied. Simply look at the tone and direction the customer took here in public and the real issue becomes obvious.

Despite the aggressive email that this customer sent, I will ignore his demand to never contact him again and at least report to him the results of his last test and buy order. It will be ready Monday.

Acting like this over $30 is both hilarious and sad at the same time
