Sometimes it's difficult for me to tell if a board is a finger card or something else.

That riser board is problematic, may get downgraded
GFC = gold finger card

Top left of you separate them you’d have a GFC and a peripheral board.

Okay and the downgrade could be to GFC for the riser board?

That riser may be down graded from gold finger card to peripheral. There’s no ic population.
