Well... Guess I'll just have to dive in and see what I come up with.
I was hoping there might be some general guidelines I could follow. Like brown boards always go low grade since, if it's blank, there's nothing there to bump to mid (though I didn't see any brown boards on top of what I have to go through). Or if there's significant weight to the board that might indicate it has more metal, then it might be something to set aside that could make a jump. Gold fingers on blanks I'll definitely set aside.
What I was able to see on my first perusal, there was definitely metal on the boards so hopefully no placeholders. Can placeholders go in low grade or do they have any recycling value?
Once I get into that pile I'll try and get some photos.
