Is it considered low peripheral or high peripheral?

If pins are gold, high peripheral; if not, midgrade, possibly low peripheral.

If the pins are not gold I would expect low peripheral to be the class.

I wasn't completely sure so I said the lower of the two grades that they might fall under. At least before the split I think they went either low grade or midgrade.

It’s good thinking.
The thing with floppy boards is the main 5 types of disk drive are fairly consistent. You have your single layer or dual layer controller chip, a few ASICs and the thick plate pins, or edge connector (gold fingers).
The value is nearly the same be it an 8” drive or a 3” drive.
About the only exception tin pins, and tin is expensive enough to guarantee you still get some level of peripheral.
