 Post subject: Another CD board

Here is another CD board I got out of a CD reader from an Xbox. The small black port is gold plated but I’m thinking to toss into my peripheral box.

This one is borderline. Very close. We have both the drive controller and a full D~A converter.
We’re still in peripheral range most likely since we don’t have the gold pin weight to offset the board.
However
Since early ATA and parallel cd drives were in this size range (slightly larger), we’d be at cd rate if the pins were gold.
