Please don't apologize for any comments. I appreciate all the help. That is why I didn't try to remove the metal. Gut feeling and all that.
I'm going to send this Chris, as suggested.
I will post his answer here for everyone's benefit. Thank you!!

Sorry if I have offended anyone with my previous post. I totally understand that you are trying to be cautious because the boards look like they might have mercury relays on them.

No offense taken by me.

Hopefully it's not mercury. I didn't really say what I found when I looked for info so when you mentioned being a newer board I thought I should expand on what little I did find. Raytheon being aerospace... not much to go on but it increased my concern for mercury.

Lostinlodos is a pretty good resource too, he knows stuff or knows where to look for a lot of information like this. He ended up being the one to confirm I had mercury relays on some boards.

My guess is its not a mercury containing component.

??? I'm confused that thread says those components are mercury.

Marked,

Unless I am badly misreading these previous post the black triangles doesn't indicate mercury.

Take a look at this post http://www.boardsort.com/escrapforum/vi ... =4&t=18578

One of wetted mercury relay’s is right in the center of the red board. They appear to be about 1/4” wide and maybe 1-1/2 to 2” long. Its not the larger square components with the black triangles.

Okay my fault, I was looking at the WE labeled relays on that post which are mercury but you were using that as a reference to say the triangles on the other components aren't mercury.

Let's just see what Lynne finds out from Chris :D

The board looks like it came from a cell phone. The RMPA on the metal cover stands for "Resonant Microstrip. Patch Antenna"

Its all good :)

the first post with board G is hard to tell much about it. The second one isn't a whole lot better but Chris did call out the location.

I wish they would have taken clearer picture of the mercury switches. They say something along the lines of "danger or do not remove contains Hg"

If we knew what this board was out of it would help to clarify everything.

I didn't realize there were so many comments. I got busy yesterday with family stuff.
The board came out of a satellite phone. I was fortunate to be the recipient of a warehouse clean out. And yes, I have a letter giving me permission to accept the items.
I'm still waiting on Chris's reply.
I appreciate all the time you guys have spent on this.
I researched myself silly last night, on every aspect of this board and came up with nothing useful.
