That is true, but that board you pictured is a brown board to begin with and there is a big difference in the makeup of the brown boards compared to the green boards from my understanding(more layers of metal materials). I'm using what I've seen mostly from ccussins post on high and low peripheral and in the 3rd paragraph of marked's reply of this post:
https://boardsort.com/escrapforum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20773&p=40128&hilit=quality+of+board+layers#p40128 I thought I had seen lost talk about it as well but couldn't find any posts specifically(it's hard to keep straight where you see everything when there is so much information to look through), and also talking to my nearest yard that buys escrap, though they don't sort as far as Boardsort the same basic idea seemed to be there with them. In short green on both sides is of higher value all by itself. Although, I understand why you say midgrade because that is this board's base basically, those are the things I considered and why I looked at things the way I did, realizing also what you said about the IC's themselves being of lower value(which removed would still go in the IC category). Maybe some one else will interject also and help us/me understand better, I have tended to be too optimistic at times when looking at patterns but all that matters is how Boardsort would grade it.
