 Post subject: Gold plated pins

Two questions the pins on the right came out of the connector on the left. 1. The pins I can send in as gold pins? 2. Do I have to trim the metal more or throw the whole thing in.

They’re good like that. If you split the plastic you’ll find the pins are part of a long bar. You would need to remove the bar in such a case.
